Why I Started Pier

Building a startup is one of the hardest things a person can do. You're wearing seventeen hats. You're making decisions with incomplete information. You're trying to build something from nothing while convincing investors, customers, and sometimes yourself that this is going to work.

And somewhere in the middle of all that, you're supposed to figure out marketing.

I've spent years sitting across from founders exactly like you — brilliant people with real products and real potential, frustrated because the traction just wasn't coming. They'd tried the agency. Hired someone junior. Brought in a consultant who handed them a deck and disappeared. Nothing stuck.

What they needed wasn't more tactics. They needed a partner who understood the startup world and knew how to build marketing that actually connects with the right audience and moves the needle. Someone who could come in, read the room, and say "okay, here's what we do next".

That's why I started Pier.
